Hakkasan Group has announced the launch of the second Casa Calavera location within the forthcoming Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, which is part of Hilton’s Curio Collection. Inspired by Día de Muertos, the Mexican dining concept amplifies a vibrancy composed of striking Instagrammable moments paired with authentic décor.
Crafted by New York-based Celano Design Studio in collaboration with locally based Klai Juba Wald Architecture + Interiors, traditional furniture populates the interior in a range of architectural finishes, including Mexican tiles, pebbles, and stacked stone. A mural inspired by traditional calavera artwork punctuates the restaurant, alongside altars, candles, and butterfly motifs. Additionally, a tequila throne serves as a key focal point as it overflows with bright marigold flowers. The new Casa Calavera restaurant also features an expansive outdoor patio, where alfresco dining overlooks the onsite pool.
