The Adoba Eco Hotel in Rapid City, South Dakota, has opened as the environmentally friendly brand’s first property in a former Radisson. Antonio Ballatore, fourth-season winner of HGTV’s “Design Star,” has embarked on the redesign of the 177 guestrooms, which will include sustainable furnishings and eucalyptus fiber sheets. Adrienne Pumphrey and Jim Henderson, the duo behind the brand, aim to reduce the use of water, energy, paper, and chemicals with plans to achieve LEED certification.
