Mykonos’ Anandes Hotel Honors Timeless Greek Elegance

Studio Bonarchi imbues the independent property with a chic Cycladic sensibility
Published: September 20, 2024

Anandes Hotel emerged this summer as a new independent luxury boutique hotel in Mykonos.

Designed by Athens-based Studio Bonarchi, Anandes Hotel houses 42 rooms and suites (many with private pools), along with a spa and French Riviera-inspired dining option LPM Restaurant and Bar.

The hotel redefines Cycladic style, paying homage to the island’s rich traditional elements through a contemporary lens, while integrating avant-garde elements. A noble, simple design approach instills a tranquil ambiance throughout guestrooms, suites, and public spaces.

Luminous white organic forms are contrasted by dark-shaded natural materials, while custom furniture inspired by historical Greek fixtures meld with sculptural lighting to create visually impactful spaces.

Guestrooms, meanwhile, are characterized by natural stone, embossed pine wood, linen fabrics, rattan elements, and bronze details with a dark patina.
