Humbert & Poyet Designs New Beefbar Outpost in Athens

Monaco-based design studio Humbert & Poyet has revealed its design for Beefbar‘s Athens outpost, located at Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel. The restaurant’s light and airy atmosphere draws inspiration from the elements, with references to sea and stone that underline Grecian craftsmanship. Ceramic tiles adorn tabletops with a painted design beneath woven baskets suspended from the ceiling. Handcrafted ceramic light fixtures are fixed upon walls, illuminating raw materiality, including terracotta floors and furniture made of walnut and iroko. Topped with wood and equipped with large fabric suspensions, a central, curved bar punctuates the bar and lounge area. A leisurely outdoor lounge is endowed with large sofas and ceramic tables set against the backdrop of the sea.
