The Malin, a workspace members club, has launched its newest location in Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood, marking the brand’s first outpost outside of New York and its largest location to date.
Spanning 16,000 square feet inside the Nashville Warehouse Co. building—the city’s first mass timber building—the space unfolds under striking pine ceilings and beams, and features 48 desks, seven private offices, five meeting rooms, and two libraries.
The Malin’s in-house design team brought the space to life with earthy, saturated tones including deep olives, rusts, salmon pinks, and mustard yellows. In open areas, eclectic furnishings upholstered in supple leathers and soft velvets make a statement with bold colors and prints, creating an elevated interior evocative of a luxury hotel.
Dark walnut and white oak wood floors are complemented by reeded wood and glass accents, as well as zellige tile backdrops and poured crystal dividers. Echoing the natural wood ceilings, surfaces are crafted in limestone, travertine, and marbles to create a warm, elevated ambiance.
“This is by far our most brilliant workspace to date,” says Ciaran McGuigan, CEO of The Malin. “We’re in the hospitality business, so we carefully tailor each location of The Malin to fit the needs of the neighborhood and professional community. Not only are we providing the highest level of hospitality, but we’re doing it in a refined and beautiful space that contributes to a productive work flow.”
