Hospitality Design (HD) magazine is pleased to announce the finalists for the 19th annual HD Awards, honoring the best in design across 26 project categories and 13 product categories.
Lauded as the most prestigious awards for the hospitality industry, the yearly event recognizes the best and most innovative achievements in design from around the globe, as well as the creative teams behind them.

From nearly 750 project entries and 320 product submissions, HD will announce the winners live during a ceremony on Tuesday, June 6th at Cipriani 25 Broadway in New York. (Purchase tickets for the event here.)
An esteemed panel of industry professionals selected this year’s winners and finalists. Project judges included Angela Bankhead, Marcus Samuelsson Group; Tara Bernerd, Tara Bernerd & Partners; Kristen Conry, Marriott; Adriana Marianella, CultureWorks; Alessandro Munge, Studio Munge; Stephanie Smith, Accor; Crystal Vinisse Thomas, Hyatt; Brian Vickery, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts; Christina Zimmer, Highgate; and Brad Zuger, Rockwell Group. Products were judged by Julien Albertini, AsthetÃque; Jason Bramhall, Hilton; Sara Duffy, Stonehill Taylor; and Nancie Min, Clodagh Design.
The 2023 HD Awards ceremony will also recognize Kemper Hyers, chief creative officer, and Auberge Resorts Collection, and Tara Bernerd of Tara Bernerd & Partners as Hotelier and Designer of the Year, respectively.
For the fifth year in a row, HD partnered with West Elm on the HD/West Elm Student Product Design Competition. The $5,000 prize will be awarded to the student and/or recent graduate whose dining armchair design stood out among the competition.
The Hospitality Diversity Action Council (HDAC), for the third consecutive year, will also honor exemplary work that advances the hospitality industry through the promotion of diversity, inclusion, and equity with the Awards of Excellence.
