Benjamin Moore has named Aegean Teal 2136-40 its Color of the Year 2021. The intriguing blue-green hue exudes natural harmony and invites both reflection and reset. The Color Trends 2021 palette was also announced, comprising an elegant lineup of hues reminiscent of handspun textures often found in the home. From the craft and nourishment showcased in the kitchen to the reviving flair of a living space, both Color Trends and the Color of the Year are grounded in warmth, with sunbaked sensibilities that stimulate the senses.
“Amid uncertainty, people yearn for stability,” says Andrea Magno, Benjamin Moore director of color marketing and development. “The colors we surround ourselves with can have a powerful impact on our emotions and wellbeing. Aegean Teal 2136-40 and the corresponding Color Trends 2021 palette express a welcoming, lived-in quality that celebrates the connections and real moments that take place within the home.”
