Carey Watermark Investors has acquired the Chateau Bourbon Hotel in the French Quarter of New Orleans with plans to convert it to the Hyatt French Quarter. The property will undergo a complete makeover, which will include increasing the number of guestrooms (which boast 12-foot ceilings) from 251 to 254, as well as adding new F&B concepts.
