Designed by Amsterdam firm Concrete, the brand’s long-standing partner, and Gensler’s local office, citizenM Miami South Beach blends modern design and local flavor, embodying the energy and flair of the Florida city.

Each of the 168 guestrooms are furnished with everything a modern traveler needs without the frills, including an XL king-size bed, a powerful rain shower, and an in-room iPad that allows guests to set the room’s ambiance via the blinds, temperature, and colored lighting.

To reflect the vibrant South Beach community, citizenM commissioned eight original pieces of in-room art from Los Angeles-based visual artist Austin Call, Barbadian contemporary artist Akhila Watts, Florence-based artist and educator Robert Minverini, and aLILscribble CEO and artist Alannah Tiller.

Underscoring citizenM’s commitment to sustainability, the hotel was constructed in adherence to elevated environmental standards, including energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction. The property is also working towards securing LEED Gold certification.

The new addition joins citizenM’s growing U.S. portfolio, which includes Miami properties in Brickell and Worldcenter as well as Boston, New York, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Austin, and more.
