Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants’ continues to blossom with the opening of two new properties. The Kimpton Bamboo Grove Suzhou marks the IHG brand’s arrival in mainland China while the Kimpton Aysla Mallorca is its first European resort.
Kimpton Bamboo Grove Suzhou channels the architectural character of the nearby Prince Zhong Mansion with its simple and sophisticated modernist flair. The 178-room hotel also boasts a spa and fitness center equipped with a heated indoor swimming pool and atrium overlooking the Jiangnan water town.
“The opening of Kimpton Bamboo Grove Suzhou marks a significant milestone in Kimpton’s expansion in the APAC region, particularly into mainland China, and its continued presence in this tourism market,” says Kimpton CEO Mike DeFrino.

Kimpton Aysla Mallorca
Meanwhile in Spain, Kimpton Aysla Mallorca arrives as a wellness haven anchored by an expansive onsite spa, Maison CODAGE Paris. Beyond a pair of outdoor pools, the facility touts a sauna, salt cave, mud baths, seven treatment rooms, and an indoor pool. The resort, located in the town of Santa Ponsa, is also distinguished by more than 700 pieces from local artists and craftspeople. SABA Restaurant and ZAYT Pool Kitchen & Garden Deli round out the onsite amenities.
“Kimpton Aysla Mallorca is based on establishing a sincere and warm human connection,” DeFrino adds. “This property effortlessly blends the sanctuary and calm of the location with a focus on leisure activities and a modern approach to wellness.”
