Following the 25-year success of the iconic BondST in New York, the Japanese-inspired restaurant has opened a second location in Hudson Yards on Manhattan’s West Side.
Designed by Jeffrey Beers International (JBI), the new outpost features a dining room, lounge seating, indoor/outdoor patio, two private dining rooms, a 14-seat bar, and an open-kitchen omakase bar, paired with sweeping views of the Hudson River and Heatherwick Studio’s Vessel.
The interiors of BondST subtly nod to Japanese style and materiality, balanced with the whimsical use of custom light fixtures reminiscent of lanterns and upholstered furnishings bedecked with playful textiles. Wall panels and trellis ceilings are complemented by botanical elements, while white oak flooring runs underfoot.
The design story comes together to create a sophisticated dining experience with a warm, inviting atmosphere.
