Reverie, the newest American restaurant from chef Johnny Spero, has arrived in the upscale Georgetown section of Washington, DC. Set within a cobblestoned alleyway, the 64-seat eatery maintains a connection to its surroundings with a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows.
Nordic influences permeate across the interior with navy and gray hues as well as the midcentury-style host stand. The crisp, contemporary space is designed by EditLab—the hospitality branch of Streetsense—to flow organically into the open kitchen, with fumed white oak parquet flooring providing uniformity. A knife-edge maple countertop wraps the kitchen and bar, while a custom walnut service island is positioned between the bar and kitchen.
