Felix Roasting Co. Launches Chic Coffee Shop in SoHo

Designer Ken Fulk draws inspiration from the coffee shop's downtown setting
Published: September 29, 2020

The palatial coffee shop Felix Roasting Co. has opened in New York City’s chic SoHo neighborhood. Following the brand’s debut in Midtown Manhattan in 2018, the new location draws inspiration from its downtown zip code through a grandiose interior design by bicoastal decorator Ken Fulk.

The 1,500-square-foot space comprises four distinct zones for sipping and working, distinguished by lattice archways and exposed rose-toned brick walls beneath glass chandeliers. Apothecary cabinets host Felix beans and other grab-and-go items, while the coffee bar showcases custom cladding. Beyond the bar, communal tables promote coworking and a lounge invites leisurely sipping upon curved banquettes. Maximalist elements, like radiant green and pink floors and floral wallpaper, echo themes from the flagship as well. A relaxed alfresco space is also featured.
