Hong Kong-based Langham Hospitality Group is set to double the footprint of its Cordis Hotels & Resorts brand in China’s Jiangsu Province.
In the city of Kunshan, the Cordis, Kunshan, Xiajia—which takes its name from the park- and lake-filled grounds of the nearby Xiajia River delta—will be situated in the Xiajia River Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, a commercial center surrounded by lush gardens and waterways.
The 285-key property is being developed by Kunshan Xincheng Development Construction Company, a subsidiary of Kunshan Guochuang Investment Group Company.
Cordis, Kunshan, Xiajia marks the 10th Cordis property in operation or development in mainland China.
