Iconic international lifestyle brand ELLE is entering the hospitality sector with the launch of ELLE Hospitality. The first of its kind from a global media group, the entity will comprise two new boutique concepts—Maison ELLE and ELLE Hotel—which will aim to meet the demand for lifestyle-focused destinations and stylish accommodations. The maiden Maison ELLE is slated to open this fall at ELLE’s headquarters in Paris, while the first ELLE Hotel will debut next summer in Jalisco, Mexico in partnership with real estate developer ACTUR. ELLE Hospitality will also partner with Studio V, a subsidiary of French hotel company Valotel Group for its European offerings, while Whitney Robinson International will collaborate on Middle Eastern projects.
“We are thrilled to launch ELLE into the world of hospitality,” says Constance Benqué, chairman of ELLE International and CEO of Lagardère News. “Our brand’s success to date has been thanks to our innovation and our special relationship with women, and we are proud to continue to challenge the status quo as we enter a new era of travel. Our two concepts will present exciting gateways that will allow guests to see the destinations through a new lens and through ELLE’s vision.”
Maison ELLE in Paris will be home to 25 guestrooms and suites as well as a spa. The ELLE Hotel in Jalisco will be launched as part of an eco-conscious luxury lifestyle community along Mexico’s Pacific coast. Both projects will reflect the existing hallmarks of the ELLE brand through the inclusion of artistic design and elite craftsmanship. The properties will highlight the work of local female designers and artisans as well.
