JW Marriott is gearing up to open its first property in Greece this summer.
Designed by Athens-based Block722, the JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa stretches across 100 acres of Cretan coastline near the picturesque town of Chania. The resort spans 160 guestrooms, suites, and villas—the majority of which boast private pools.
Block722’s interior design concept draws inspiration from the surrounding natural beauty, blending contemporary aesthetics with a palette of calming, natural hues.
Dining at JW Marriott Crete
The resort features six dining venues, including sea-to-table experience Õnalos; authentic Italian restaurant Cuccagna; the Mediterranean-inspired Fayi; and open-fire Cretan cuisine at Anoee. Two elegant bars, Sancti by the pool and Eēxis, will serve signature cocktails and wines as well.
The resort’s spa and amenities
At the heart of the property is ANOSEAS spa, which boasts four treatment rooms and an outdoor wellness experience. A highlight of the spa is Linovrochi, a subterranean sanctuary nestled within a cave, where guests can rejuvenate and connect with nature through private and guided meditation sessions.
Additional onsite amenities include a fitness center, four swimming pools overlooking the Aegean Sea, and padel courts.
