Miiro, a new lifestyle hotel brand from aviation and hospitality conglomerate InterGlobe Enterprises, is slated to open five properties over the next two years, with its inaugural property launching in Paris this summer.
Derived from the Latin word “miro,” which means “I wonder,” Miiro aims to encourage guests to pause, observe, and relish every moment—with the intentional double vowel symbolizing the idea of reflection. Each property will carry its own unique personality, drawing inspiration from their respective neighborhoods.
Miiro’s debut hotel, Le Grand Hôtel Cayré, marks the rebirth of the historic Hôtel Cayré, which was frequented by Parisian artists, writers, and intellectuals. The design of the Paris location will take cues from the creative culture of the surrounding neighborhood, including the old world charm of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. In addition to 123 rooms and suites, Le Grand Hôtel Cayré will feature a classic French brasserie and an exclusive bar.
Miiro’s second property, Borneta, is also slated for a summer 2024 opening in the charming artisan quarter of El Born, Barcelona, where Gothic churches and restaurants line a labyrinth of narrow streets and squares. The 92-key hotel will include a cocktail bar, restaurant with an open-plan kitchen, and a rooftop terrace with views of downtown Barcelona.
Coming to London early 2025, the 156-room Templeton Garden will feature a café-meets-deli, restaurant, bar, and garden. Nestled in the city’s Earl’s Court neighborhood, once home to writers Beatrix Potter and Agatha Christie, the hotel will offer a quiet respite from the bustle of central London, situated nearby museums and iconic landmarks.
