Raffles Hotels & Resorts and NEOM have unveiled plans for a year-round mountain resort in Trojena, Saudi Arabia.
Slated to open in 2027, Raffles Trojena will feature a striking ring-shaped design that offers views of the surrounding environs from every vantage point. Arranged around the perimeter of the ring, the destination’s 105 guestrooms will offer privacy and unobstructed vistas.
Circular zones and meticulously landscaped gardens on the ground level will encourage exploration, while a roof, consisting of circular apertures, will allow for ample natural light.
The forthcoming luxury resort will also feature the Raffles brand’s signature hallmarks, including its renown butler service, culinary offerings, and an emphasis on arts and culture.
NEOM is a region currently being shaped by several giga-projects that will serve as a new model for sustainable living. This latest project, developed in partnership with the NEOM Hotel Division, will be located in the Discover cluster—one of six distinct areas in the region.
The Discover cluster is set to include the Discovery Tower, a high-rise tower with an open-air museum; the Observatory, a panoramic viewing center; and the Cosmic Gate, a stargazing camp and astronomical park.
