Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has revealed plans to launch an urban retreat within the Parkside Seoul complex in the heart of the South Korean capital. Expected to open in 2027, the ultra-luxury, 250-room Rosewood Seoul is set to join the mixed-use neighborhood, which will comprise high-end retail and residences as well as expansive outdoor space—at the threshold of Yongsan Park.
Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) will spearhead the design of Rosewood’s first property in Korea, while Space Copenhagen will helm its interiors. The hotel will complement—and expand upon—Seoul’s futuristic vernacular, seamlessly blending it into the city’s sleek, contemporary skyline.
The brand’s signature Asaya wellness concept will be a key anchor of Rosewood Seoul, accommodating treatment rooms, hydrotherapy, relaxation areas, saunas, a fitness center, and an indoor pool across more than 48,000 square feet. Seven restaurant and bar options and a multifunctional 19,375-square-foot event space will also be featured.
