The new 81-room Sorano Hotel has opened its door within the new Green Springs urban development in Tachikawa, Japan—overlooking the vast Showa Kinen Park.
The hotel’s interiors were crafted by Tokyo-based design studio Curiosity to echo the overall theme for Green Springs: “A wellbeing town connecting the sky, the earth, and the people.” Wellness is considered in the spacious lobby, which maintains a visual connection and access to the park. A contemporary tent motif characterizes the public spaces to convey openness.
The Sorano Spa is spread across the hotel’s 10th and 11th floors, and includes a bathing facility, Jacuzzi, nano-mist sauna, fitness center, and an outdoor infinity pool that spans the length of the building.
