The EVE Hotel has officially opened in Sydney, offering a design-forward experience rooted in art, architecture, and local craftsmanship.
The project is a collaboration between Adam Haddow of architecture firm SJB, Daniel Baffsky of 360 Degrees Landscape Architects, and interior architect George Livissianis, who, together, crafted a concept that celebrates Australian creativity.
Capturing the spirit of Sydney at the EVE Hotel
The design of the 102-room property leads guests through a sequence of spatial experiences—from generous open lounges to intimate corridors.
The lobby is anchored by natural stone and bespoke glazed terracotta punctuated by bold pops of red and blue. The hotel wraps around a central courtyard allowing sight lines through to lush greenery.
Meanwhile, guestrooms are defined by Australian-inspired palettes of soft eucalyptus hues or deep red clay tones to reinforce a strong sense of place.
Locally sourced art and furnishings play a central role in the design narrative as well. Sculptural lighting by Henry Wilson adorns the interiors, while artworks by Louise Olsen and Tarryn Gill contribute to the hotel’s visual storytelling.
A rooftop garden—complete with a 65-foot-long pool—crowns the hotel as a lush urban treat amidst textural natural stone. The area is accented by retro-style umbrellas, bespoke cabanas, and imported Sukabumi pool tiles.
