Weekender Hotels, an outdoor-oriented brand based in Saratoga Springs, renovated and rebranded two hotels in New York’s Adirondack Mountain region.

Town House Lodge in Lake Placid
Town House Lodge, situated in Lake Placid, echoes the retro charm of the 1970s. The 27-room property features a heated saltwater pool, grilling area, and classic Adirondack fire pit overlooking Lake Placid and the surrounding mountains.
Trailhead, formerly Shaheen’s Adirondack Inn, resembles a moody, modern mountain lodge. With 33 rooms, the hotel in Tupper Lake stands as Weekender’s largest property to date.
“With these properties, we continue our dedication to luxury,” says Weekender founder Keir Weimer, who was honored as Boutique Design’s 2022 Up-and-Coming Hotelier.
Weekender’s current portfolio also includes Great Pines in Old Forge, New York; Placid Bay Hotel in Lake Placid, New York; Alpine Lodge in North Creek, New York; Riverhouse in Peterborough, New Hampshire; and Aspen in Manchester, Vermont.
“One of our biggest differentiators is that we want to provide the setting, the inspiration, and the curated, unique experiences to help guests find their adventure,” Weimer adds.
