The Conrad Manila has opened in the Metro Manila area in the Philippines. Sitting atop the upscale two-level retail complex S Maison, the WOW Architects-designed property reflects the shipping vessels in the nearby Manila Bay. The Singapore-based studio’s design orients the base of the structure toward the waterfront promenade.
All 347 guestrooms and suites are equipped with energy-saving technology such as motion sensors to activate air conditioning and curtains automatically opening and closing based on time of day. Suites and executive rooms revel in views of the city or bay and enjoy exclusive access to the Executive Lounge and bathrooms equipped with in-mirror TVs.
Spanning more than 43,000 square feet, four event halls and two ballrooms comprise the onsite event spaces. In addition to the fitness center, the Conrad Spa offers wellness opportunities with six treatment rooms, soaking tubs, and a private sauna. Crowning the hotel is a luxurious sky park with outdoor entertainment and recreational venues. The third-floor infinity pool features a coral shape as a tribute to the coastal locale.
Six onsite restaurants and lounges are available at the hotel, including the coffee and pool bars. Al fresco dining at Brasserie on 3 offers bay views, private dining rooms, and a chef’s table, while the Jereme Leung-led China Blue boasts modern interiors and floor-to-ceiling windows for panoramic views.
