InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is making plans to renovate and add properties to its Caribbean portfolio. Highlights include:
- Renovation of the Holiday Inn Resort Aruba
- Multi-phase refurbishment of InterContinental San Juan
- New-build Crowne Plaza San Juan, opening in 2014
- New-build Holiday Inn Isla Verde, opening in 2015
- Conversion to Holiday Inn Express Nassau, Bahamas, opening in summer 2013
- Conversion to Holiday Inn Resort Grand Cayman, opening early next year
