Miami-based architectural firm Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates (NBWW) has won the first place Eagle Award by the Central Florida Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. for its work on Eden Roc, a Marriott Renaissance Resort & Spa, on Miami Beach. The firm took home honors in the category of "Historic Preservation Projects Over $100 Million."
"The Eden Roc is an iconic and marvelous structure," says Don Wolfe, vice president of NBWW. "It was a privilege to be able to provide our own interpretations for the hotel, putting it in top shape for the 21st century and beyond, while preserving its original Miami Modernist style."
NBWW has worked on other iconic South Florida hotels, including Loews, DiLido (now Ritz-Carlton South Beach), and Fontainebleau.
