Another Bechara Studio element, the front desk sits in front of a 20-foot-long curved blue-pleated wall (done in Bart Halpern fabric) that is covered in a collection of various books by Middle Eastern authors. Torn in half, the books are overlaid with gold leaf and gilded objects, allowing guests to “find interest in the small pieces,” says Ellenberger.
