Valencia Hotel Group is making plans for Lone Star Court, opening summer 2013 in Austin. The hotel-which promises a 3-Star concept with 4-Star guestrooms and 5-Star service-is a modern interpretation of the motor court of the 1940s and ’50s, John Keeling, Valencia’s executive vice president, tells GlobeSt.com. “These hotels were kinky and fun and had great names, big gaudy neon signs,” he says, adding that the concept is “appealing to families, baby boomers, and generation X-ers.”
