Spanish hospitality group Vestige Collection has introduced Binidufà, the brand’s second property on a sprawling private estate in Menorca’s northern countryside.
The 11-room boutique hotel joins sister property, Son Ermità, which debuted last June. Together, the hotels form a secluded, dual-destination retreat spanning nearly 2,000 acres of unspoiled landscape, defined by a strong connection to the island’s natural terrain and heritage.
Preserving history for Binidufà
Set within a peaceful valley, Binidufà is the older of the estate’s two 18th-century properties. Its Arabic name reflects Menorca’s Moorish heritage and the site’s long history as a working agricultural estate, offering a distinct perspective from Son Ermità’s elevated hilltop location.
From its terraces and gardens, the landscape unfolds in rolling green hills and red Menorcan earth, dotted with native Minorcan cattle.
The interiors—envisioned by Vestige’s in-house design team, Vestige Estudio—reflect the brand’s signature aesthetic language. Spaces are characterized by natural materials and rich tones drawn directly from the surrounding landscape, while locally crafted furniture is complemented by antiques and contemporary art.
Through close collaboration with local builders and craftspeople, the project prioritized traditional construction techniques and locally sourced materials, while native planting was implemented to support the estate’s biodiversity.

Integrated amenities
Guests of Son Ermità and Binidufà can experience the properties as a single destination, moving between the two to share programming, wellness facilities, and access to an estate that stretches across untouched countryside down to three wild coves.
Integrated into this shared footprint is Binidufá’s plant-forward dining concept, Mesura. The restaurant offers a lighter approach to dining, providing a refined counterpoint to Brisa at Son Ermitá. Mesura’s menu celebrates the island’s bounty with a focus on locally grown and sourced ingredients.
An elegant onsite bar also provides a sophisticated setting for evening aperitifs.
What’s next for Vestige Collection
Vestige Collection is slated to launch three private estates this summer: the six-bedroom Son Veri in Mallorca’s Valldemossa, and Can Jordi and Can Mestre, two four-bedroom villas on a shared estate in Formentera.
Plus, the brand will make its first international expansion this fall with the opening of a safari lodge in northern Namibia.
