A continuation of Carl Hansen & Son‘s collaboration with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects, the VLA61 Monarch Chair was pulled from the Copenhagen-based architecture firm’s archives. Only 10 editions of the chair, originally designed in 1944, were produced and will be offered to the public for the first time. Named after the butterfly, the piece features a handpolished wood frame with simple curves and brass feet.
