At a glance: For the conversion of the May Hosiery Building—built in the early 1900s—into the Soho House Nashville, the in-house team imbued the 47-room members’ club and hotel with Bauhaus-inspired elements informed by the building’s past, including striking geometric patterns and bold industrial finishes. Nashville’s reputation as a music haven was also celebrated with striped tiling around the pool calling to mind a guitar string board and decorative patterns that nod to the jazz and blues genres.
