Among those new arrivals is the 215-room 1 Hotel Nashville, with a design from Workshop/APD that captures the Tennessee countryside. The lobby, for example, is inspired by the Cumberland River Valley’s tobacco brands and verdant banks, while the rooftop bar sparks Prohibition-era intrigue with smoky materials that mimic fog coming in over the mountains. Tennessee landmark Ruby Falls inspired Bamford Wellness Spa, with flagstone flooring that evokes the site’s subterranean rock formations and waterfalls.
