R48 Hotel and Garden, Tel Aviv

Inside the 11-room R48, a 1933 Bauhaus-style building sporting wraparound balconies on Tel Aviv’s swank Rothschild Boulevard, the atmosphere is evocative of a private villa. Crisp white interiors juxtapose vibrant shades of yellow and green, woods like walnut and African teak, and works from contemporary Israeli artists. Piet Oudolf, renowned for the High Line in New York, also softened the property with lush landscape vignettes woven throughout, including at the rooftop pool sanctuary.
