Six Senses Antognolla, Perugia, Italy
Set amid Umbria’s olive groves, vineyards, and cypress-topped hills, the Six Senses Antognolla reimagines a 12th-century castle and estate into the 71-room resort, the handiwork of New York firm Woods Bagot and Tokyo-based Design Studio Spin. In addition to the guestrooms and suites, which are housed in the site’s historic castle and traditional borgo buildings, there will also be 79 branded residences ranging from apartments to six-bedroom farmhouses. This outpost will join other Six Senses openings this year in London, Milan, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia.
