Anantara Kafue River Tented Camp, Zambia

Kafue National Park in western Zambia is one of the largest reserves in Africa. Here, on the banks of the Kafue River, the luxury safari camp from Anantara is expected to arrive early this year. Suspended 11 feet above the bush, the retreat by Johannesburg-based firm Meg Ralph Spaces comprises 12 tents, including the nearly 6,500-square-foot presidential villa, each equipped with a private plunge pool. The eco-friendly property is flanked by two islands and will offer a spa, pool, lounge, restaurant and bar, and traditional African boma.
