What we’re looking forward to: Vertice Hospitality and Kyle and Katina Connaughton, the husband-and-wife team behind SingleThread Farm, have given new life to the nearby River Belle Inn. The late-19th-century mansion originally built for Isabelle Simi Haigh, the country’s first female winemaker, is a love letter to England, where the Connaughtons spent time living and working. Throughout the nine guestrooms and two-bedroom apartment, floral motifs, metal accents, and vintage items juxtapose a palette that nods to Sonoma’s natural beauty.
