Wayfinder Bishop reflects California’s High Sierra landscape with warm earth tones and mountain-inspired hues. In the reception area, for instance, a handcarved desk by artisan Lance Stanislaw sits beneath a suspended cedar strip canoe, while art and local flea market finds add character to public spaces. Among the dining options are the Whistling Trout, a restaurant characterized by patterned textiles and vintage furnishings, and the Creekside Club, inspired by Bishop’s annual Mule Days event.
