Asher Adams, Salt Lake City
The Asher Adams transforms downtown Salt Lake City’s 1908 Union Pacific Depot into a 225-room hotel that respects its French Second Empire architecture. Named for the cartographers who first rendered rail routes on maps, the property celebrates the golden age of train travel through details like restored stained glass windows, terrazzo floors, and original murals. A new eight-story guestroom tower brings in brass furnishings, rich textures, and warm tones, while 13 suites housed in the historical building feature exposed brick, elegant moldings, and soaring ceilings.
