Salt Hotels debuted the Abner, reimagined from the historic Litchfield County Courthouse into a hotel that celebrates its architectural heritage and New England location with 20 bespoke guestrooms, the Courtroom restaurant in the original main courtroom, and Verdict, a seasonal rooftop bar offering views of the countryside. Interiors feature restored elements like judges’ benches repurposed as banquettes, a color palette inspired by vintage legal books, and curated art that’s available for guests to purchase.
