Rosewood Schloss Fuschl, Austria
The brand’s second outpost in Austria, the Rosewood Schloss Fuschl debuted on the shores of Lake Fuschl in the Austrian Alps this spring, melding historical charm with modern luxury. Originally built in 1461 as a hunting lodge and summer retreat for Salzburg’s archbishop, the 98-room hotel is centered around the color palettes of the region’s flora and fauna. Take the guestroom minibars, which feature handpainted scenes depicting the four seasons by Austrian artist Marie Hartig. The main draw, however, is the lake, which allows guests to take a moment for introspection.
