Built in the 1940s, the former bank building that now houses the 91-room Rome EDITION exemplifies the Rationalist architectural style. Every element—from the showcase marble staircase to the preserved original lamps and statues—marries the brand’s defining aesthetic with a sense of history. The pièce de résistance is the hotel’s courtyard garden, an indoor-outdoor haven adorned with more than 400 plants. The property comes amidst a growth spurt for the brand, including the arrival of its first Southeast Asian outpost, the Singapore EDITION, this fall.
