Once a housing and studio space for creatives and intellectuals, the 173-room Renwick was reimagined as a contemporary hotel by local firm Stonehill & Taylor. Each guestroom was designed as its own artist’s studio with “blank canvas” white walls broken up by a bold band that rises through the headboard and onto the ceiling.
