W Singapore – Sentosa Cove has completed a full-scale transformation spanning its accommodations, dining, wellness, and event spaces. Crafted in collaboration with the Melbourne- and Singapore-based design firm HACHEM, the property’s renewal brings together the city’s cosmopolitan pulse and the serenity of an island retreat.
Inside the reimagined W Singapore – Sentosa Cove
Upon check-in at the transformed Living Room, guests are greeted by delicate paper sculptures by artist Peter Gentenaar drifting overhead.
The lobby’s W Lounge features organic silhouettes, deep marina blues, and butterfly chandeliers that were sustainably repurposed from former guestrooms to introduce lightness and movement. Sculptural timber columns inspired by Singapore’s iconic Supertrees round out the space with soft beige tones and a bold architectural presence.
Bringing in a tropical atmosphere
Reimagined guestrooms are designed to reflect the surrounding flora and fauna through organic curves and verdant tones, while crisp lines nod to Singapore’s vibrant urban landscape. Deep marina blues flow through the spaces, grounded by warm wooden wall panels, soft flooring, and plush carpets.
A standout design element is the coral-orange sofa, inspired by Sentosa’s sunsets, which anchors the room and functions as an additional sleeping option.

A range of amenities
The design narrative shifts toward deep restoration at the AWAY Spa. Designed as a calming, rainforest-inspired sanctuary, the renewed wellness facility features steam rooms, ice baths, infrared heat therapy, a vitality pool, and experiential showers.
For culinary experiences, signature steakhouse SKIRT features an interactive kitchen. Nearby, the kitchen table offers all-day dining that reflects the tropical setting, while WOOBAR provides a chic cocktail destination characterized by botanical elegance.
The property has also launched After Dark, a music series bringing global sounds to the resort’s late-night programming.
Located on a single floor, the upgraded meeting and event spaces boast marine-inspired flooring, contemporary grey wall finishes, high ceilings, and expansive windows. The pillarless Great Room ballroom now includes a sprawling LED panel capable of seamless configuration into dual screens, supported by state-of-the-art audiovisual systems.
Sustainability at W Singapore – Sentosa Cove
Sustainability remains woven into the resort’s foundation. The property has replaced single-use plastics with in-room filtration taps, installed hundreds of solar panels, and utilizes a smart farm wall for fresh herbs. A comprehensive food-waste upcycling program supports Sentosa’s greenery, contributing to the resort’s EarthCheck Silver certification.
