Autograph Collection has unveiled its first resort in Southern California: the LEED Silver Pier South Resort in San Diego.
Culver City, California-based Paul Darrell Design completed the bold interiors. With 78 suite-style accommodations, a coastal tavern, and the quintessential California ambiance, this boutique hotel offers Pacific Ocean views and a style that blends the locality with a sophisticated, laid back setting.
As a LEED Silver certified hotel, Pier South Resort will utilize water conservation technologies and use solar power for cooling and heating. The property is also a major advocate for beach conservation and nearby wildlife sanctuaries and offers guided hikes for guests.
The resort is also home to the SEA180º restaurant, designed by locally based Philippe Beltran. Serving Baja-Med inspired dishes, the restaurant includes large glass windows, a large restaurant patio, and a rooftop space. Pier South Resort is also set to open a full service spa by Dames Day Spa.
