Jonathan Nehmer + Associates (JN+A) and HVS Design have been commissioned to work on the first two hotel conversions for EVEN, InterContinental Hotel Group’s new health and wellness brand.
JN+A is providing project management services for EVEN Hotel (formerly a Holiday Inn Express) in Rockville, Maryland, while RTKL is providing architecture and interior design services. Both firms are providing turnkey architecture, interior design, and project management services for a former Four Points by Sheraton in Norwalk, Connecticut (pictured).
Each property will have a gym divided into three zones: cardio, weightlifting, and yoga/mat exercises. Other amenities will include flexible public work spaces, dining, and in-room workout equipment.
