On Sunday, November 9th, exhibitors filled the Javits Center to showcase their latest innovations at BDNY 2025. Booths ranged in size from intimate 50-square-foot displays to immersive 600-square-foot experiences.
A distinguished panel of judges—Jason E. Goldberg, BRE Hotels & Resorts; Holly Nixon, NXN Studio; Archit Sawhney, Harken Interiors; and Victor Schmick, Davidson Hospitality Group—navigated the aisles to identify the most creative and impactful presentations for the annual Best Exhibit competition.
After careful consideration, Best in Show was awarded to Cava Surfaces. The Canadian supplier, which sources premium stone slabs from quarries across the world, impressed judges with its thoughtful use of material and space.
“Cava Surfaces delivered a standout showcase of craft and creativity,” the judges noted. “Their booth was a perfect blend of visual appeal and technical expertise, as they reimagined class materials with a fresh take. The running rain shower made it an undeniable showstopper.”
