Hotelier Ian Schrager is bringing his brand PUBLIC to the West Coast with PUBLIC West Hollywood. The 137-key hotel, set to open spring 2026, on Los Angeles’ Sunset Strip will also be Schrager’s third major venture in the city.
A peek at PUBLIC West Hollywood
PUBLIC West Hollywood will occupy a landmark building, reinterpreted through Schrager’s distinctive creative lens and designed in collaboration with British architect John Pawson.
The hotel will feature a vibrant lobby, pool, and three F&B and entertainment venues. At the heart of the property, a lushly landscaped 16,000-square-foot rooftop terrace will offer 360-degree views of the city.
Continuing the brand’s “luxury for all” ethos, PUBLIC West Hollywood is expected to deliver curated, multisensory experiences built around Schrager’s four key pillars: great service, style, entertainment, and experience.
