Dunton Destinations is set to make its European debut with Kilchoan Estate, a secluded retreat on Scotland’s remote Knoydart Peninsula.
Known for its immersive, nature-driven hospitality—most notably at Dunton Hot Springs in Colorado—Dunton Destinations is reimagining a 12th-century estate with the help of London-based architecture firm Waldo Works.
A new chapter for Kilchoan Estate
Spanning 13,000 acres and accessible only by boat or on foot, Kilchoan Estate will feature six restored stone cottages, ranging from one to five bedrooms, alongside modern additions such as a yoga studio, a bar and gathering space, and a conference room.
Dining will emphasize local and regional ingredients, with experiences that include in-room breakfasts, outdoor picnic lunches, and communal dinners hosted in the estate’s barn. Guests will be immersed in the rugged beauty of Knoydart through activities like hiking, fishing, wildlife observation, and heritage tours.
Kilchoan Estate is expected to launch this summer.
