Hospitality furnishings company Lacquercraft Hospitality (LCH) has announced the appointment of Matthew Dehnert to president. Joining LCH from lighting fabricator iWorks, Dehnert succeeds Noel Chitwood, who is retiring. Dehnert previously served as vice president of sales and marketing for Tiger Imports & Appian Textiles, a soft goods supplier in the hospitality sector. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Georgetown University.
“We are thrilled to have an accomplished hospitality executive such as Matt join our LCH team,” says Mohamad Amini, executive director of LCH parent company Samson Holding, Ltd. “Matt possesses the leadership qualifications and the hospitality industry experience to carry our company forward and build on the success that we have enjoyed since entering the hospitality market in 2010.”
“I am indeed excited and grateful to accept the president position at LCH and I appreciate the confidence that Mohamad and the Samson leadership has shown in my ability to lead the company,” Dehnert adds. “I look forward to building on the success that LCH has enjoyed under Noel’s leadership with a continuing commitment to integrity and customer success.”
