Hotel design and development firm the Gettys Group Companies has appointed two new CEOs, effective January 1st, 2024. Ron Swidler will take the helm as CEO of the Gettys Group Companies, while Jerry Zeitner will assume the role of CEO at Ridgeline Development Partners, the firm’s hotel development arm.
The announcement follows closely on the heels of the company’s 35th anniversary. Since 1988, the Gettys Group has been delivering guest experiences with its integrated approach to branding, interior design, procurement, and development across thousands of projects around the globe.
Swidler and Zeitner, both longtime Gettys Group team members, have played integral roles in expanding the firm’s offerings and global impact. Swidler, who joined the company 35 years ago, rose to the position of chief innovation officer, while Zeitner, with almost 28 years at the company, currently serves as chief development officer of Ridgeline Development Partners.
“Ron and Jerry will take what we have achieved together over the past 35 years and bring it to the next level, realizing our firm’s vision and potential,” says Roger Hill, Gettys Group’s cofounder and most recent CEO.
Hill will transition to the role of executive chairman of the board of directors, maintaining active engagement in key projects and relationships. Andrew Fay, the firm’s cofounder and president, will transition from his role to be the lead independent director of the board and serve as an active special advisor to the CEOs.
“This marks an exciting inflection point for Gettys,” Fay adds. “[It’s] a pivotal moment and a great opportunity for future growth based on fresh thinking and new perspectives.”
