Carlson Makes Expansion Plans for China

Carlson has signed management agreements for four hotels in China, bringing the company’s portfolio to 25 hotels in operation and under development. The signings include:

  • The Radisson Blu Resort Baoting, scheduled to open in 2013, will be developed within the Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Park.
  • When it opens in 2015, the 230-room Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Hangzhou Xiaoshan will feature a Chinese restaurant, specialty restaurant, lobby lounge and bar, ballroom, 10 meeting rooms, business center, swimming pool, and fitness center.
  • Part of a mixed-use development, Park Plaza Ordos will offer a wide range of dining options, including an all-day-dining venue, a Chinese specialty restaurant, Western restaurant, bar, and lobby lounge. The hotel is scheduled to open in Q2 2014.
  • Park Plaza Shenyang Hunnan will comprise 362 guestrooms and suites, an all-day-dining restaurant, a lobby lounge, business center, 24 meeting rooms, and health and spa center. The hotel will debut in 2013.
